The Project

Westmark Credit Union serves 82,000+ members across 15 branches in Idaho with $1.6 billion in assets — but their previous website platform was unreliable and creating real operational problems. Members who needed basic tools like loan calculators were redirected to third-party sites. Staff couldn't update content without developer help. The site didn't reflect Westmark's investment in its communities or the quality of its member services.

Avtec migrated Westmark to a stable, secure infrastructure and rebuilt the digital experience from the ground up. The new site runs on Avtec CMS, giving marketing staff full control over rates, promotions, and page content without submitting tickets. We embedded 24+ Financial Calculators directly on-site, built a custom Financial Goals Engine covering 20 life goals, and integrated 14+ Banzai financial education coaches — all accessible without leaving westmark.org.

Avtec also integrated Westmark's third-party platforms into a cohesive experience: MeridianLink for online loan applications, Alkami for digital banking, and Glia for live chat and co-browsing. The entire site is automatically translated into Spanish, expanding accessibility for Idaho's growing Spanish-speaking population. An ADA Compliance Widget provides on-demand accessibility adjustments for members with visual, motor, or cognitive needs.

Today, Westmark's website functions as a self-service digital branch. Members find answers, compare products, plan financial goals, and start applications on-site. Staff publish updates in minutes. The site runs on Avtec's Secure Hosting with 24/7 monitoring, and meets WCAG AA accessibility standards.
