Escondido Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1953 to serve employees of the City of Escondido. Over seven decades, it grew into a community institution — serving families, city workers, retirees, and the staff of the California Center for the Arts. Today EFCU manages roughly $100 million in assets for 6,000+ members across North San Diego County, with products spanning youth savings and student checking through home equity and retirement IRAs. Three generations of the same family banking in the same place isn't unusual here. It's the point.

The old website didn't reflect that. Members who'd trusted EFCU for decades found a site that couldn't keep up — limited online applications, stale content, weak product discovery, and a mobile experience that pushed members back to the branch for tasks they expected to handle from their phone.
