The Project

Canyon View Credit Union started in 1956 as a small credit union for University of Utah professors. Over nearly seven decades, it grew through two rebrands — first to University First Federal Credit Union (UFirst) in 2004, then to Canyon View — expanding from a single campus to six Utah counties. By the time the Canyon View rebrand launched, the credit union served 118,000+ members with over $2 billion in assets across 16 branches from North Bountiful to St. George.

The UFirst website couldn't carry the new identity, and the credit union needed a site that served Utah's diverse communities — in English and Spanish. Avtec delivered a complete bilingual website redesign coordinated with the brand launch, on a timeline the marketing team described as going "the extra mile" to meet.

The scope went well beyond a standard redesign. Avtec built a custom Glia integration for video banking, live chat, and co-browsing. MeridianLink handles on-site lending for auto, mortgage, personal, and credit card applications. Q2 powers digital banking with online and mobile access. The site includes Financial Calculators, rate widgets, a BranchLocator with CO-OP shared branch and ATM access, AppSecure forms, HubSpot marketing integration, SiteSearch 360 for on-site search, AlphaRank for funded-application tracking and conversion optimization, a Paylocity careers integration, and ADA Compliance tools — all managed through Avtec CMS.
